Overview
Expense Khata stores your financial records on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, restore, email or otherwise send data outside the app. The app does not operate a cloud account system for your transaction history.
Information the App Stores
The app may store transactions, income, expenses, transfers, borrow/lend entries, repayments, amounts, dates, categories, notes, accounts, budgets, reminders, profile preferences, receipt references, PIN settings and premium status needed to unlock paid features.
How Data Is Used
Your local data is used to show dashboards, calculate balances, create reports, track budgets, manage borrow/lend records, schedule local reminders, apply settings and prepare exports when you request them.
Permissions
Expense Khata may request notifications for reminders, file picker access for imports or exports, and internet access for third-party services such as ads, app store purchases or Play services where available.
Advertising and Purchases
Non-premium users may see ads provided by Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process device, ad interaction and diagnostic data according to their own policies. Premium purchases are handled by the app store provider, such as Google Play Billing.
Exports, Backups and Sharing
Exports, imports, backups and sharing actions are controlled by you. Exported files can contain sensitive finance records, so protect them carefully and avoid sharing them through channels you do not trust.
Security and Deletion
A local PIN can reduce casual access to the app, but it does not replace strong device security. You can remove local records by deleting entries, clearing app data, using reset tools where available or uninstalling the app. Copies outside the app must be managed wherever you saved or sent them.
Children's Privacy
Expense Khata is intended for personal finance record keeping and is not directed to children. If a child has entered personal information, you can delete local records or clear app data from the device.
